SHIPPING

We like handmade stuff by people who know what they're doing. The only downfall to that, is quality takes time. We can't give you a set time of how long something is going to take, our collars can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks, depending on the supplier, handmade ID tags can be 2-3 weeks. We put the production times on the item's page, so you can check there for the averages. Trust me, they're worth the wait.

We try to ship multiple item orders together, for example, if you get an ID tag and a collar, we'll wait till the collar is done before we ship both items. If you absolutely can't wait, when you make your order, put in the comments section that you want your items shipped as they become available. If you need rush or overnight shipping, please use the contact form and put your order number in the Subject Heading.

Typically you will receive your items within 5 days of your shipping notice. We include a business card or two in all our shipments that leave our shop so that you can tell your friends. If they use your unique discount code at checkout, we'll give you 10% of their order total!

RETURNS

At Karma Charms, we take pride in the high standards we hold our products to, and they are all guaranteed in workmanship and quality. We try everything out first, and trust me the three of us beat the crap out of this stuff. If something is wrong with the product itself please let us know IMMEDIATELY so that we can take care of it.

For the record the following are NOT product defects and are not covered in any way, shape or form by our guarantee:

Any sort of Mastication (Chewing…) – I know dogs who've eaten through towing chains, in fact my older sister ate through a crate, drywall, plywood, and vinyl siding and was wandering in the backyard when our parents got home from grocery shopping, and she was only 3 months old. Trust me, there is no way to create a chew proof anything.

Abuse – Yes, believe it or not if your dog pees on a bed, and you suddenly realize it smells bad, the horrid horrid people we are, we won't cover that. Same as we won't cover it if a bear eats it, or if you decide to use your leash to strap a kayak to the top or your car, or use your feeder as a step stool, or if you left your doggy baked goods in the box in the back of your car in 90 degree heat and for some reason they're melted. (By the way, we don't care if they're melted or not, we'll eat them anyways.)

Personalization "Oopses" – We can only print what we are given. If you tell us your dog's name is Roxy and we put "Roxy" on the tag, it isn't our fault when after you GET the tag you decide that you want to spell it "Roxie". Or when you move and accidentally give us your old phone number. If you realize these things after you place your order, let us know right away so we can stop production to have it fixed. On the other hand if WE make the mistake on our end (ie: You told us the right thing and we printed the wrong one) we of course will replace it at no charge for you.

Which is a lovely segway into what we DO cover…

Product Failure – Failure is such a nasty word, and we try to avoid it at all costs, hence the high standards that we hold all our items to. But sometimes things happen, and if they do, we will have the item in question repaired or replaced at cost. Keep in mind if you're going to have one of our custom handmade items replaced, you're going to have to wait another 2-8 weeks (Depending on the item) for your replacement.

Sizing/Color issues – We beg and implore you upon all that is sacred to measure your dog before ordering anything. While different suppliers have different ways of sizing, when given the correct measurements we can usually get you the right fit. Please check our Sizing page for tips on how to measure your dog. However, if you forgot to measure your dog, or if they spontaneously suffered a 15 pound weight loss/gain, since your ordering of said item, or say you adored a certain color scheme or design one day and when it arrived, you found it hideous and that its mere presence induces you to become ill, just drop us an email so we can give you a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and we will take it back, and give you a store credit for the full amount. That's right no restocking fees! Just make sure that you return only UNUSED items in the same condition they left our shop in. Any returns determined to have been used, worn, drooled on, or otherwise, will not be accepted.

Because of the nature of most of our items (The whole custom handmade thing), once an item is made, we can't just throw it in a bin and wait for someone else to order the exact same item in the exact same size and the exact same color. Just isn't good business. So, if you return something for size/style purposes, we will donate that item to a dog in rescue. So not only do you get a store credit, you get the warm fuzzies for knowing that you're helping out a dog who really needs it.
